SURFACE PREPARATION |
|
|
|
|
New surfaces · Polish, make dust-free and degrease with a solvent agent (use of ammonia for afzelia wood) · On impregnated wood : 3 coats of EASYTOP · On non impregnated wood : 1 coat of EASYTOP 501 + 2 coats of EASYTOP Repainting · Remove all slighly adhering parts . · Clean with White Spirit or wash if required · Polish if the surface is still glossy, make dust-free, touch up the bare parts · Subsequently apply 2 – 3 coats of EASYTOP |

Do not apply EASYTOP on supports which have
been treated with wax, paraffin, etc… containing products |

The final shade depends on the number of
coats of EASYTOP and on the natural shade of the wood In spite of the humidity controlling feature
of EASYTOP, it is not recommended to apply it on wood which the moisture
content exceeds 20% Part which contain sap-wood are to be treated
with EASYTOP 501 In case of extended degradation of the old varnish
coats, strip them thoroughly with paint remover |
